Dr. Ronnie C. Mease is a Co-Inventor of the radiotracer 18 F-DCFPyL which was licensed from Johns Hopkins and commercialized by Progenics Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Lantheus Holdings, Inc and is known as Pylarify in the US. It is also known as Pylclari in the European Union and as PSMA-PSR in Australia and New Zealand, marketed by Curium Pharma and Cyclotek respectively.
18F-DCFPyL is a fluorinated small molecule PSMA-targeted PET imaging agent that enables visualization of lymph nodes, bone and soft tissue metastases to determine the presence or absence of recurrent and/or metastatic prostate cancer.
